I went through an online chat yesterday which achieved nothing - they said someone from Sky would call me, but so far nothing. My BBC iplayer works fine so I'm not sure the Wi-Fi can be the issue

Is everyone with this problem on Vodafone home broadband (I am, and I saw Milton+Ford who replied just now was)? I have posted similar to the vodafone community site as well - where there was previously a problem noted with Now TV.

At least 4 have vodafone home broadband as a common feature. So seems like the problem is there...

using sky go at uni?
Im a student at uni away from home. We have a sky account and I just wanted to check if i can watch sky programmes / catchup / movies etc on the sky go app on my laptop while away from home?
I have the app and im pretty sure it works here but its unclear on the website whether you need a tv licence registered to the building to be able to play sky go?

Thanks. I’m Vodafone too. I called them and they said there’s an issue following an update they did in the Oxfordshire area. They said it would be rectified in 72hours.

Internet service provider: Virgin
Hardware: Virgin router
Channel and on-demand content affected: On demand content buffers approx every 13 minutes requiring forced restart of sky go application.

I spoke to Vodafone who told me to go through the following steps with my router, I guess I'll do this when I get home later, although this seems to be different to what everyone else has been told.
Thanks for calling us today, this is to confirm how to change DNS from GUI page:
1. Go on to your computer and enter the number 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser, this should take you to the log in page for the router and not a search result page.
2. The password you need to log in is 'vodafone' all lower case.
3. Once logged in, in the top right corner you'll see that it's set to Basic Mode. Click the drop-down and change it to Expert Mode.
4- Click internet in the red menu bar. In the left corner choose DNS/DDNS
5- Change the configuration from Automatically into manually.
6- Type in the first line ?8? in each box
7- Type in the second box ??8?? in the first two boxes and ??4?? in the last 2 boxes
8- Then click Apply at the bottom.

why am i getting code 1310 on sky go?
I have ordered a new sky tv installation which arrives tomorrow and told i could have sky go in the mean time. Why am i therefore getting the above error code anyone?

Sky Go App (Mac) only downloads in SD?!
I'm trying to watch the new Game of Thrones in the best quality possible. I don't have a Sky Box so am limited to Sky Go and the Sky App on PS4.
Both seem to be giving me crappy quality. Even with an ethernet connected to my mac with download speeds of over 300Mbs, the Mac Sky Go app will only allow me to download in SD. I can't find any setting to change this.
Does anyone have any advice?
