Hi, I've discovered that you can only use sky go over a wifi /broadband connection, so 4G wont work unless presumably, you have a sky mobile or tablet. It seems sky is not offering anything to customers unless it's on their own terms. Sky go would be great if you could use it on the go as it suggests, but how many of us can link to a good enough wifi connection on the go to be able to use it? Useless piece of advertising hype, as usual.

Sky Go works over a 4G connection - you just need to select "Settings" -> "Network Preferences" in the app and tick the box to allow streaming over 3g/4g .
I have SkyGo on 5 diverent devices.
2 of the devices require the account details to sign in everythime I use it but this is not needed on the other 3.
Why does it not remember my account on these 2 devices.
All devices are Windows 10 PC's.
I’m a sky customer but when trying to watch sky go on my phone I get a message saying to update my subscription
Without knowing what packages you subscribe to or what you are trying to view it might be that you are attempting to watch something that you do not subscribe to, the most common issue is when a user tries to watch something from Sky Boxsets but doesn't subscribe to the Boxset package.
Difficult to say why this is happening so have you tried a complete uninstall on those two computers where this is an issue, make sure you delete the hidden Sky Go folders as per this:
https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-go/error-pfe-desktop-app-windows
You can ignore the date and time bit.
This is happening to me! please help someone! tried all the below tips - and reinstalling it, deleting all old copies etc etc.
Hi, I've been using the sky go app for ages, I installed the latest update and when I re-opened the app I get a grey blank screen, the latest version has obviously not been tested properly with Apple. I'm using a MacBook and macOS Mojave, which is the latest software.
Any suggestions? Or updates on when this will be fixed Sky???
Have you tried the workaround mentioned here - https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Go-Apps/screen-goes-grey/m-p/2995331#M68427
Yep, I've tried the suggested workarounds, dragging, re-installing etc etc, nothing has worked. Have sky repsonded to anyone rather than workarounds that you know? thanks
I have the same problem...but the compatibility box isn't ticked when I go into properties so it clearly isn't the issue...nothing seems to solve this damn problem!
I need to uninstall the Sky Go app on my laptop as I'm signed in as my Dad and I want to sign in as me so I can watch my movies package..
I've tried uninstalling it through apps and features and its saying its completely removed it. But, when I reinstall it I'm still signed in as my Dad!!!!!
Very frustrating!! Can someone help?

A windows PC? You will probably need a dedicated uninstaller program.
Yes, that has worked.
I had read about the other issues where they need to reinstall in the same manor and I was going to try it.
I and not sure if it has anything to do with it, but the 1 PC that I have just done also had NOW TV installed, so maybe it was causing an issue with the accounts.
Thanks anyway.
Yes I use windows 10.
Delete the Sky folders in appdata>roaming and it'll log you out. No need to uninstall anything.
