Brassic fails to download with an error messgae that just says "download failed" . Other programs and films download ok. This is on a windows 10 laptop with the latest version of sky go app.
Series 1 episodes 1,2 and 3 all downloaded ok, 4, 5 and 6 just fail everytime I try to download them
any suggestions ?
I have just tried episode 4 and it takes a little while to start but it does start to download on a Windows 10 PC as well. If you haven't already try closing down and restarting the app.
thanks, but no joy - uninstalled Sky go, deleted any trace of a Cisco, Sky or Sky Go folder in all of appdata ->Local, Locallow & Roaming folders, re-downloaded and installed, booted Sky Go and its now been sitting on the blue screen for 2 minutes 😞

Next thing to try is install as admin and then run as admin.
I've downloaded the Sky Go Desktop App to a MacAir. It opens fine but when I close it it disappears. I can find no short cut in application on the desktop. Where is it?

Ive downloaded the sky app on my Xbox one and it says I need to get sky go extra.
I've followed all the steps how to do it and there's not a button or a link or anything on how to download it.
Can anyone please help me.

Hi I have sky go extra but when I attempt to download an episode of a programme on my tablet it simply asks me to download in HD or SD. It doesn’t give me the option of downloading to my tablet, when I select SD then it simply says Downloading to my box. I’m guessing this is sky box, which is great but now what I wanted. I’ll then go to downloads and it says I need skygo extra, which I know I have!

Is this happening on every program you have troed because for certain content on the Sky Go app it can only be downloaded to our boxes due to rights issues. The message you see in the Downloads section is there by default as I see it on mine and like you have got Sky Go Extra and have had it for a good few years now.

I've seen that Now TV are offering 1080p streams at 50 frames per second for an extra £3 a month. Is this something that will be coming to the PS3/PS4 Sky apps?
I have same issue watched sky go on my fone many times never an issue now wont let me watch anything live I have pretty much full package 👎👎
I have just been offered and installed an update v2.5.33 - 1.5.16. This is an update from v2.5.28 - 1.5.16. Sky Go is still connected to my Sky Q Box (2TB). The buffering problems appears to be reduced but is still not fixed completely. Nice try Sky but could do better 2/10.
I'm on v2.5.28 and it's telling me no updates avaiable.
Are you signed in with the correct ID, have you been away from Sky for over a year and then returned then if so you would need to set yourself up a new Sky ID to log into Sky Go with. If this doesn't app,y to you then you will have to contact Sky support so they can look into it for you.
Update on the v2.5.33 - 1.5.17. I have used it again and received 3 bufferings in approximately 10 minutes. I estimate it is an improved update but needs more work!
I have the same issue with recent episodes of TWD and sports I have recorded which I never had an issue on the Sky Q app.
Version I have still no updates. And this version running okay with recorded stuff but anything else starts the buffering after around 10 minutes then every 2 minutes onwards. Think I've only got another 2 weeks of this as I cancelled sports, movies, HD and extra SkyQ. All cancelled due to this and fact Sky no longer has Spanish footie and not keen on this weeks upcoming movie of Die Hard. Methinks the future is elsewhere.......
I've upgraded to the latest release 1.5.17, same issue - it first buffered after 4 minutes and then every 2-3 minutes thereafter, although it does not freeeze for such a long period and I've not had to restart Sky Go as I had done previously, progress, but as you say needs more work!
