With todays update I can confirm there is no change other than being possibly worse. Trying to watch the Leeds match. Sound coming and going for 2 minutes then the buffering. Then the sound issue again, ect etc.

You can block the connection to the box at the W10 firewall - see details about three pages back. This forces streaming over the internet.
To add to the above, this can only be done if you have a Sky Q box as you can't do it with a Sky+ one.
I thought this was for a PC or does it work for mac OS too?
Weird. I set up to block the IP of my box and it still got through.
maybe the updates to stop you blocking the IP 🤣
Can't you guys not just connect 2 other devices first so it then blocks it connecting? There's a limit of 2 so just turn 2 mini boxes on or connect 2 other Sky Go devices so the limit is hit?
I want to watch the red button football which I am able to watch on my phone app through my laptop app why can I not find how to access it on the sky sports website on laptop to watch on the app?

When I log into the sky sports app I cannot watch the live football even though I have sky sports in my subscription. It says your subscription doesn't allow you to watch. Any help?
I was notified yesterday there was an update for Sky Go on Amazon Appstore.
Hoping that this would be a fix for the woeful level of audio on my Fire HD i immediately updated the app....
It wasn't... for goodness sake Sky, it can't be that hard to fix.
All the updates in the world mean nothing if i can't hear the audio.
Can anyone help with an error code that stops me from downloading a film onto my laptop. The error code is D0-O-1H.

thank you for your suggestion. funnily enough the sky go app crashed with an unknown error
after this, I restarted the app and I was able to download the last 3 episodes
Downloaded all 6 episodes of Brassic Sunday (3) and yesterday (3)
went to watch episode 1 today (series 1)
I was asked for a pin code
followed the link and set a pincode for the skygo app (I didn't have one before)
now when I try to start to watch Brassic series 1 episode 1 I am asked for the pin code
oddly I enter the 4 digits but only the first three pin code boxes shows a * as I type
I enter the pincode, I get a message to say the download will expire 48 hours after I start to watch it
the player starts and then I get an error message
This download has expired and is not available to watch. Code PFE9010
any suggestions ?

Hi, anyone else get an error code 17d when trying to use sky go? Any ideas how to fix it? I've deleted the app and reinstalled it but still fails.
Red button football games are only available via our Sky boxes or the Sky Sports app on a mobile device.
Are you signed in with the correct Username and password, if so have you been away from Sky for more than a year because if so you will need to create a new ID and use this to login to the app. If this doesn't apply to you then you will have to contact Sky for help withi this.
