Just follow what I have written step by step, if you have got cisco, great, go through the other step, uninstal sky go, then find temporary file, then recycle bin and then reinstall

Cisco Videoguard was only installed seperately on older versions of the app so if you can't see it to uninstall it don't worry.
There should be a Cisco folder in AppData>LocalLow though, as that is where the downloads go.

Getting Error Code 1529 - you have reached the maximum number of downloads for this show
I have been watching Hawaii Five O on Sky Go Season 10, as I am waiting for my delivery of my Sky Q box. I have got three episodes left of the season, but it will not let me download them and is giving me the error above. I have delete all the previous episodes from my computer so what is the problem??

You can only download an item twice and that's the limit.

Have you tried downloading these episodes before and perhaps there was a failed download or have they just never worked the first time you tried ?

- Launch Finder, select Downloads then delete ‘SkyGoInstaller’.
- Launch Finder again, select Go (at the top of the screen), then Computer.
- Select Macintosh HD.
- Go to Users > [yourusername] > Applications then delete the Sky Go app.
- Delete the Sky Go folder from Roaming.
Note: If you uninstall the Sky Go app any downloads will be lost.

Sky q app on iphone
Hi For some strange reason the sky q recordings tab no longer shows on my app. It shows on the iPad but not ok my phone. I'm no longer able to record or view my recordings on my phone. Has anyone else had this issue? Have rebooted box and disconnected WiFi from phone. Re installed app and still nothing

This is all fine, but the Roaming folder reference is confusung.
Instead I went to Library by
- Open Finder.
- Click "Go" on the menu bar.
- Press and hold the “option/alt” key.
- Click the "Library" shortcut which appears.
- Then navigate to the relevant folders (Application Support, Caches or Preference)
and Trash all SkyGo folders and files referencing Cisco player
It worked for me. At last. With no help from Sky Support

Hi, just had the same issue with my phone (unrooted Samsung S9). After much googling, it turned out I still had an app on my phone from years ago which kept backing up & reinstalling every time I got a new phone.
The app was Terminal Emulator which is capable of unrooting my device. After uninstalling this & a quick re-start, everything works fine.
It might not help, but make sure you've no apps installed which are "capable" of rooting your device.
If your phone is not rooted, check for apps like Terminal, Superuser, SuperSu etc & uninstall them.
It worked for me, so have a quick search & give it a try.

I have an old(ish) macbook pro and used the following steps successfully.
1 - go to finder, then downloads and delete the installer and sky go app
2 - go to finder, then select either your hard drive, or SSD and search for Sky go in the search bar, delete all references to Sky go.
3 - Empty the trash
4 - re-download from the sky website
These steps worked for me, I had deleted the app from the downloads section multiple times with no luck. It wasn't until I searched on the my drive I found other folders with Sky go related files. - These were clearly the problem.

Sky Go doesn't support VPNs or Ad Blockers.
If you're using one or both of these, turn it off.
Restart the app:
Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete on your keyboard.
Select Task Manager.
Select the Sky Go App.
Press End Task.

Upgrade to sky go extra
Hi All.
Trying to upgrade to SkyGo Extra but on the website it shows the benefits of Extra bit no way to actually upgrade to it. Does anyone have an idea how this can be done without calling the offices? (Tried calling them and I just get cut off)
