Thanks for replies finally working hooray!
Got someone at home to delete device from sky go on our ipad, then took WiFi off on phone, added roaming data allowed, put on a film it worked! Paused film moved back to WiFi and then made sure I added my device back.
Thank goodness for that a bit of a faff but thanks for suggestions doing them all did the trick. Boredom sorted!

If you are a Sky TV customers then the answer in the post above yours is what you need to do.
My Sky App not working.
App opens normally however if you select any of the options ie: roll data it loads the page but is grayed out with a blue circle/arrow which doesn't allow you to select/update and you not able to select a sim to roll data to.
This previously worked with earlier versions but won't allow me to run these.
App is loaded on a Samsung Galaxy A71
If you purchased the film via the Sky Store app, then press on the 3 horizontal lines and you will see the library section or they are here when you login to the Sky Store website:

If you have a Sky+ box the film should be in the planner > purchases or Sky Q via Recordings > Purchases. If the film is not there the find them on the app or website, select the film and select the send to box option.

Looking for a solution to error messages when trying to play show, error 1404, and download watch films, 1504. Downloaded on to Catalina Mac, have tried the uninstall/reinstall, deleting the folders and app via finder and reinstalling, opening only via launchpad etc
See a lot of people having an issue with this but no solution found yet for mac. Any one offer anyhelp?

Uninstall Sky Go and Cisco VideoGuard player
Make sure the Sky Go app’s closed before trying to uninstall.
To uninstall Sky Go launch Finder, click Downloads then delete ‘SkyGoInstaller’.
Launch Finder again, click Go (at the top of the screen) then Computer.
Click Macintosh HD.
Go to Users > [yourusername] > Applications then delete the Sky Go app.
To uninstall Cisco VideoGuard player
Launch Finder, click Go (at the top of the screen) then Library.
If you don’t see Library, hold down the Alt key (this might also be command or shift).
If the Library folder does not appear, select go to folder from the Go menu and type ~/library the library folder should then appear.
Open the Cisco folder, then delete VideoGuardPlayer.
Delete remaining Sky Go and VideoGuard folders
First, you’ll need to make sure you can view hidden files. To do this, Launch Finder, click Go (at the top of screen) then Library. If you don’t see Library, hold down the ‘Alt’ key.
Now, delete the remaining folder. To do this:
Open the Application Support folder, then delete ‘Sky’ and ‘Sky Go’ folders.
Go back to Library, then open the Saved Application State folder and delete ‘com.bskyb.skygoplayer.savedState’.
Reinstall Sky Go
Go to Sky.com/watch/sky-go/macos, download the installer, go to your downloads folder & run the SkyGoInstaller to reinstall Sky Go.

Youtube app on tv through sky q box has never worked netflix is always buffering. Nothing else loads i would get less stress using freeview. Im paying for freeview in reality because not getting the service or speeds sky promised. Im changing providers when my contract ends

I am trying to access the Sky Spirts Mobile App. Log in fine but when I try to watch anything it asks me if I want to subscribe/ renew Google Play subscription or do I subscribe via Vodafone.
I choose the Vodafone option and I have to log in again....
Then if I try to watch anything again it just sends me on a loop repeating the above.
I've called Vodafone and they say everything is fine there end. Called Sky and I have been given an email address and told the apps team don't work weekends but I need it for the football this afternoon 😞

Uninstall the Sky Go app and then go to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:
Sky
Sky Go
And if it is present the Cisco folder is App\Data\LocalLow. Empty your recycle bin.
Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again.
I have just signed up to Sky again after 3 months away due to covid 19 and do not know how to log out of my old account and sign into new account can you talk me through it please
This seems to be on ongoing problem with loads of people. Deleting App & restoring doesn't work. Good try Sky, but lets get some proper advice not fob offs! I've had to live with this for months & very frustrated.
Nobody from Sky has posted in this thread so deleting the app and the hidden files and folders hasn't worked for you ?
If you have only been away for 3 months then you should be able to login to the app with the same details as before as I don't think you should need a new ID to login to it.
