Uninstall Sky Go and Cisco VideoGuard player
Make sure the Sky Go app’s closed before trying to uninstall.
To uninstall Sky Go launch Finder, click Downloads then delete ‘SkyGoInstaller’.
Launch Finder again, click Go (at the top of the screen) then Computer.
Click Macintosh HD.
Go to Users > [yourusername] > Applications then delete the Sky Go app.
To uninstall Cisco VideoGuard player
Launch Finder, click Go (at the top of the screen) then Library.
If you don’t see Library, hold down the Alt key (this might also be command or shift).
If the Library folder does not appear, select go to folder from the Go menu and type ~/library the library folder should then appear.
Open the Cisco folder, then delete VideoGuardPlayer.
Delete remaining Sky Go and VideoGuard folders
First, you’ll need to make sure you can view hidden files. To do this, Launch Finder, click Go (at the top of screen) then Library. If you don’t see Library, hold down the ‘Alt’ key.
Now, delete the remaining folder. To do this:
Open the Application Support folder, then delete ‘Sky’ and ‘Sky Go’ folders.
Go back to Library, then open the Saved Application State folder and delete ‘com.bskyb.skygoplayer.savedState’.
Reinstall Sky Go
Go to Sky.com/watch/sky-go/macos, download the installer, go to your downloads folder & run the SkyGoInstaller to reinstall Sky Go.
