Quite a while since this thread started and nothing much seems to have improved. I have an i7 laptop, 8GB ram and this app kills everything when it's running. The developers should be hanging their heads in shame, as should the product managers. Seriously, I would never hire anyone who had been involved with this app. With all the streaming apps out there and how well they perform, there's no excuse for the performance of this app in this day and age, with or without a Sky Q box.

I can watch Sky sports 401, but not allowing me to watch the cricket on 404... have paid for it and can watch on the phone... get the above error message

You could try a complete uninstall of the app:
Uninstall the Sky Go app and then go to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:
Sky
Sky Go
And if it is present the Cisco folder is App\Data\LocalLow.
Empty your recycle bin.
Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again.

Try deleting the MySky app, reboot your device and then install the app again, if that doesn't work when you select Sky VIP what is happening ?

How do I claim VIP treats?
I get emails from SKY offering assorted treats. (Win golf tickets, go glamping etc) but HOW ON EARTH do you claim or apply? Have gone through rigmarole of loading APP on my phone (as this seemed to be the suggested way to apply) but (just like the VIP email I received) there is absolutely no clear "apply here" or "click to apply" icon anywhere? What am I doing wrong?? Thanks

If you have installed the MySky app then select the VIP option from the bottom right and once activated your offers, rewards and competitions will appear over the next few days.

Sky VIP account suddenly not recognised
Good Morning
I have been using the Sky VIP section of the My Sky app for a number of years now.
Recently qualified for the platinum rewards
I have never had a problem accessing the section of the app, but since yesterday morning I am unable to access it
I get an error message saying I am not recognised on the app
I uninstalled the app, and re-installed it, now I get a message saying "oops something went wrong. please try again later"
I have tried accessing via the website on my mobile phone and I get this message
ACCESS DENIED
You don't have permission to access "http://skyid.sky.com/AK_PM_VPATH0/" on this server

The odd thing I have Sky wifi at home so not sure why I would be blocked

Just received the dreaded Error Code 9903 when trying to watch SKY Go on my iMAC (BIG SUR) It was working 2 days ago but not today. I am not a techie so being told I have a video capture app running in the backgroud doesn't help me. How do I find it. The only thing thats change that I can see is the Acrobat Reader DC app and Microsoft Office Suite updated today with a TP Link app (tpPLC.app) installed a couple of days ago.
