I can confirm the picture quality is excellent and generally as good as Sky via a dish. This is subject to a fast enough internet download speed.

Hi - Downloaded SKY GO TestFlight but when logging in I get an error saying I don't have multi room or whole home?! Then it logs me out!

I don’t have any apps on my sky q box. I’ve got network connection tried a software update twice

When I got to the apps selection on the sky q box there is only one app called peacocks showing and nothing else. . I’ve got network connection (4 ticks) I've tried a software update twice so the box is definitely up to date. I don't know how to fix it.

I am getting the same. Need Multiscreen or Whole Home. I have emailed via testflight.

Hope it's not the case but it looks like they might class it as similar to a mini box.

I posted this in another thread, but it seems more pertinent to post it here:

 

I managed to install the app but when trying to sign in with my full Sky email address (or a secondary account), I get "Something went wrong. Please try again." - these work fine on other platforms.

 

I've replied to the original email from Sky and the contact on the Testflight page - will see what happens next!

It's working on my 2nd Gen Apple TV 4K but I can confirm that it only supports 720P Stereo. No 1080P or 5.1 audio, let alone 4K or HDR. 
Upscaling is very good though. Navigation is quick. A couple of navigation glitches including the programme info bar not disappearing and no Watchlist integration yet but it's perfectly acceptable.

Has any sussed out a fix yet for the netflix app where series randomly disappear from the app the return sometime later?

 

For example young Sheldon I watched 3 episodes earlier and have just gone to watch another one this time it's showing in the previously watched /continue area (both pre opening the app and within the app) but the only options are, play, remove from continue watching, remove from my list, credits, star trek tng is the same, if I select play it loads to 10% then stalls out. 

 

These 2 programs frequently have this issue or they dissappear for a few days then return, and are not visible in a search using another login.

It also seems to do this on my phone app (netflix) as well which leads one to belive its a netflix issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

 

Any insight?

Managed to solve my own issue. When the prompt appeared for accepting the T&Cs I force closed the app and opened it back up, now it opens and works.

 

Hopefully, this helps someone as it's been driving me crazy all night.

Can someone help , my sky go app on my ps4 will not let me watch anything it states I need to pay for a subscription but it works fine on my phone and it hasn't registered my ps4 as a device

The following worked for me.... kind of....


1) if you have an iPhone, iPad or mac, turn off Private Relay in the settings app.  I believe This will turn it off for all devices on the same Apple account (I.E. the Apple TV too)

 

2) restart your Apple TV box and try logging into the sky go app again. Worked for me this time (and also. Fixed playback issues I was having with sky go on my phone)

 

3) after logging into the Sky Go app on Apple TV, get frustrated when you see the on screen message explaining that you need a sky multiroom subscription to use Sky Go on your Apple TV.

 

grrr... so close, but so so far away....

I don't have multiroom and was able to use the Sky Go app on my Apple TV 4K. Seems like it's being unpredictable but don't think there's any requirement to have multiroom.

I don’t have a home button on my sky app anymore??

I can't get my sky rewards on my appt.  When I open my app I don't have a home any any item such as the home button like a selection of products that's available like manage my bills vip rewards but I can't access them. Please help.  No home item or search

I don't have Private Relay at all, as I don't have an iCloud sub.

Sky go on laptop or iPhone error "Sorry, something
went wrong.

your subscription."  It has never worked my husband used to be with sky but died and I moved house i have started new sky contract but noted his details are still in household details along with our old address don't know if this has something to do with it

Where are the Sky team up to for a proper fix in the Sky Go Windows issues? There's a few threads I've seen of people having the same problem (taking forever to launch and then a 001 error). Tried uninstalling, deleting the app files and installing and it does work initially (after about a 2 minute load time) but it eventually does the same thing when relaunching the app to watch something. Was this beta aimed at solving that or something else? What is the release roadmap? Is it even being looked at?

Same issue here - Windows 10, new laptop. Tried following the steps in the answer / uninstalling, deleting the app files and installing and it does work initially (after about a 2 minute load time) but it eventually does the same thing when relaunching the app to watch something. Is this being looked at? I purchased a new laptop because the old was struggling to stream Sky Go but now the new cant play anything at all! Absolutely fine everything else.

Might be worth contacting them as I don't have multiroom or whole home but mine worked fine last night.
