This isn't strictly true as I've tried watching Sky Go through an Apple TV, but get a message to say that I need a multiroom subscription to do so...
I appreciate that I'd effectively be bypassing a multiroom subscription by doing this, but nowhere on the Sky website nor within the product descriptions for Sky Go does it say that you need to have multiroom to use it on an Apple TV.
The new super duper skysports app keeps bombarding me with stuff I don't want, so I had to get rid of it from my mobile, how can I get skysports without the rubbish?

To use Sky Go on Apple TV you do need multiscreen so as I presume you don't have it what happens when you try to use the app ?

What exactly is it bombarding you with and are you logged in when this happens ?
Try rebooting the device the app is installed on.
It's all betting stuff, and it's giving me football results that I don't give a monkey's about, I don't have to be logged in, it just keeps messaging me!
If you use the app to only watch the live sports channels then as an alternative you could use the Sky Go app.

Typically that would be prevented by removing the apps access to Notifications in the phone settings.

The Sky Go app for PC and Mac will allow you to stream content from your Sky subscription on a laptop.

I am having an issue of loading live channels on Sky Go whilst using my Xbox One. This messages comes up:
"There was a problem streaming this channel. Please select another channel (e07282b0)"
This has never been an issue before, but I have just moved house and changed broadband.
Is there a solution to fix this?

Now that we know there's at least 4 of us with the same issue is there any way of escalating this to someone relevant within Sky please?
have tried to download sky go app to new laptop, i enter the verfication code but when press submit will not do anything else and appears to crash. Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times still the same thing happening
Have you tried the "try another one" option ?
