I have done everything to try and fix this.
Re-installed Sky Go, turn pc off/on etc reset router
I called on phone and adviser was like its your PC, no it is not my PC coz i can watch adverts on the app all day long but i cant watch a programme.
All i get is a persistent black screen with the sound of what ever programme i am wanting to watch.
When the blank screen loads up try putting your cursor on one of the corners of it and then try dragging it to make it bigger to see if that then loads up Sky Go.

It isn't possible to do this which is why you are seeing this error so if you want to view Sky via your TV then you will need to do via your usual package via your Sky Q box.
Hi there! Thank you for escalating this. We have sent an invite to @Stevegooderuk.
Do the sign out and sign in solution. Looks like a cookie update caused it. Bit poor that the App cannot give you the option to accept or reject the updated cookie options instead of just falling over and causing frustration. Maybe sky need to find some better app developers?

Its what a Sky employee told me when I rang to find out why why SkyGo on my laptop will not work.
I have exactly the same problem - works on phone not on laptop. Uninstall from laptop and reinstall then it works once. Have to Uninstall/reineverytime I want to watch!
I'm jealous, mine takes 20 to 30 minutes and then might not work!
Then they are wrong @Chris38 so what is happening with the Sky Go app on your laptop ?
What is happening when you go to use the app as we might be able to suggest something via here that can help.
