.....and still downloading the older version..

The sky go app is no longer working on my mac. I have read forums in the community saying to uninstall the app and then re-install, I have done this and it is still not working. The app simply pops up with an error message "Sky Go quit unexpectedly".

I can't even sign in it doesn't let me so I don't know how I'm meant to sign out.

I set up a sky id and it's linked to my account so I don't understand why I can't log into sky go.

No, take a look at NOW (was NOWtv) IIRC you can sub to sport only on their service

Short of being a Time Lord, how does anyone fast forward live television?

Pause and rewind are hardware dependent because they require local storage, and that's not available on many Go client devices.

Sky Go is a streaming client, on my devices, you can pause and adjust the timeline so I'm confused as to why a PC client would not also allow this

I click on the download. Once its done nothing happens. The app doesnt appear on the launchpad or downloads. If I go on finder it only shows me the Sky Go installer but not the app. I restarted my mac, deleted the installer and tried again. Nothing works. Can someone help me download it. I have a Macbook Air 2022 and its on the newest update 14.6.1. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are going to be elsewhere in the UK then yes if you are going to somewhere in Europe then no unless you are a Sky Ireland customer. If you are going somewhere else then no this isn't possible.

Same of me on Asus Chromebook, was working fine until recently now blue screen comes on then app closes.

Fix required please Sky.

Spent over an hour on the telephone with Sky today. Cancelled Sky (end 10 Sept) but now can't use Sky Go! Explained by Sky, as I'm cancelling,they've stopped the 'free' add-ons?

try to explain that as I'm still paying for the service, I should be able to continue receiving the 'free' services? But no. So don't get Sky Go, Sky Sports. But do still get Netflix?
